EUROMACS Data Privacy

EUROMACS is an international Registry offering the tools to collect clinical procedural updates as well as scientific, pseudonymised data for patients receiving mechanical circulatory support.

The Registry shall use and process the data in compliance with the valid data protection regulations and the principles of good scientific practice. ’Processing’ here means the storage, modification, transfer, blocking and erasure of data.

Information collected from EUROMACS Users* will be stored securely and used for administrative purposes in conducting our work, and for communication with you. In compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) all user information will be treated confidentially and will not be shared with any other organisation without your explicit and informed consent.
