Travelling by Plane
Euromacs has received reports from patients with mechanical circulatory support (MCS) who have been travelling by plane. Further information learns that it is not always possible to do so, not all airlines allow MCS patients aboard.
Euromacs strongly recommends that, before you plan travel by plane and before you book a ticket, to first consult the airline with which you want to fly. Most carriers have a medical officer, or advisor, who needs to be consulted.
